Justin Sims (Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer)
Justin ("East Coast") is a senior 1st baseman for the Macalester College Fighting Scots in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He currently holds a 3.83 GPA with majors in Mathematics and Economics. He has written papers on signing bonus differentials between international and domestic players and on the social and the economic impact of fantasy baseball. As a Jewish baseball player himself, Justin has written about the media reaction to Sandy Koufax’s decision to not pitch during the World Series on Yom Kippur. He will write his senior honors thesis in Mathematics on the Relative Age Effect in the Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft.
Justin was born in The Bronx, New York. He began his baseball playing career in the North Riverdale Little League, where he later coached a team, while attending The Beacon School in Manhattan. While in high school he played for the New York Gothams, an elite travel baseball organization, which traveled to several WWBA and CABA tournaments. In these tournaments he played with and against several of this year’s draft picks. He has also watched live and on video many of the top prospects in this year’s class, as well as current Division I players and minor leaguers.

Ross Bronfenbrenner (Co-Founder and Managing Editor)
Ross ("West Coast") is a junior outfielder for the Macalester College Scots in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a History major and holds a 3.8 GPA. He has been a baseball fan, and an avid supporter of the Oakland Athletics, since he first learned to spell Justin Duchscherer at age 6 and he has a terrifyingly in-depth knowledge of the Oakland minor league system.
He has served as an assistant coach on multiple teams near his home in the San Francisco Bay Area and has played in tournaments across the state during the summer. He graduated from Marin Academy High School in 2010 and continues to be involved in the baseball community in the greater Bay Area.

Anya Phillips (Web Design and Programming)
Anya is also an athlete, playing soccer and water polo for Macalester College. She is an applied math and statistics major with a focus and minor in computer science and currently holds a 3.53 GPA as a sophomore. She has been interested and working with computers and networking since middle school and she has designed websites, logos, and newsletters for her soccer club and other small businesses, along with other paraphernalia, such as t-shirts.
Anya is from Geneva, Florida and was Home Schooled throughout her life. She graduated high school in 2011 and while her sporting career involved mostly soccer and water polo, she also competed in triathlon, representing Florida at the Junior Elite Nationals in 2010. During high school, she played soccer and water polo for Oviedo High School, with both teams making the state tournaments consecutive years of her career, eventually winning the state title with the soccer team in 2011. She also competed on a premier traveling soccer team from the ages of 11-18, which played tournaments all through Florida and Georgia. She continues to volunteer in both coaching and administration with her old soccer club.

Ben Farber (Senior Writer)
Ben is a rising sophomore at Macalester College, and a right-handed submarine pitcher for the Scots. He was born and raised in New York City, and has been a die-hard Yankees fan for nearly fifteen years. Ben attended Friends Seminary high school in Manhattan, where he captained both the varsity baseball and basketball teams his senior year. He is also a member of the Peekskill Tides, a collegiate summer baseball team in Westchester County. In addition to playing, Ben has coached three summer travel baseball teams (ages 11-13) that won both their district and league championships.
While currently undecided on a major, Ben intends to focus on history and social science, as well as media and cultural studies, as he attempts to further his career in sports media. Throughout high school, Ben received some exposure, both in the Riverdale Press and the Journal News Yankees Blog, in addition to his school newspaper. He covered little league and high school baseball, as well as published a more sentimental piece about his formative years as a baseball fan. Ben will be broadcasting Macalester Basketball games next season, along with Scots' assistant coach, Cormac Seely.

Eric Saltzman is a rising senior attending American University in Washington DC, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Justice. Currently Eric is the sports
editor of the Eagle, the student newspaper at American University. He has interned at MTV, SiriusXM, The Blue Wave and Sportz Ventures throughout his
college career. Eric also operates his own blog, Saltzman Sports Symposium.
